THE CHARITIES BOOK STORY

The principal purpose of the Charities Book
is to showcase charities and to offer a choice
to potential donor and bequestors.

The Charities Book started out as filling a
"need". Direct mail and journal advertising to
the legal profession was costly - and was usually
discarded by the recipient.

Catering initially to the bequest field was the aim
of the Charities Book ... over the years this has
broadened to include Trusts, Corporate and Cause
Related marketing, private gifts and others such
as large social club disbursements.

In 1983, after considerable research, came to the
conclusion that a book format would be
used ... and retained.

The first book, in 1984 was a NSW
edi tion, this was followed by various Victorian
and Queens land books. By popular request a
national book was published in 1989.
